Marketing Lead: Content, strategy and localization

I'm a Latina living in Germany. I am a content marketing and creative expert with vast experience in helping businesses grow through effective and creative content strategy, execution, and roll-out. My passion lies in ensuring that brands maintain their identity across various channels, languages, and cultures.

  • As part of the Growth Marketing team, I lead a team of 10 content folks and manage a pool of 20 freelancers and production agencies, driving demand generation initiatives through content, from Shorts to long-form video and in-depth product guides. I also work very closely with regional marketing and product teams on creating audience-first content. My day-to-day includes people management, content partnerships, content performance tracking, and project management. Responsibilities included content planning, budget management, audits, localization, and editorial programs in different languages. MVP is my preferred way of learning, and I've made it my mission to guide my team to do the same!

  • I was responsible for the growth and performance of a team of 17 designers, copywriters, and creative managers. My role involved interpreting marketing and brand plans for Europe and providing overall direction for creative development across various online business initiatives. I specialized in guiding the team on the development of multiple, differentiated creative concepts and solutions while always keeping in mind the requirements of each brief and brand positioning.

  • Roadmapping and vision setting, holistic pan-European creative copy strategy for B2C, ownership of high-profile initiatives, including: a) continue evolution of our cross-channel content (e-mail, site, print catalogue, social media), b) develop and maintain European voice standards to drive brand consistency and evolution, c) work in tandem with design and copywriting geo leads to guide and inspire the creative team, as well as elevating the brand, d) influence how our creative copy comes to life with the forthcoming launch of further verticals and Wayfair’s international expansion. It was my mission to drive overall employee experience and team improvement by contributing to their professional development and career growth.

  • As a member of the Performance Marketing team at Babbel, my primary goal was to enhance organic growth and conceptualize/executed high-performing inbound marketing strategies. These strategies optimised Babbel’s customer acquisition capabilities while delivering value to our target consumers.

  • As a member of the Content and Storefront Management team, I have contributed to the successful launch of brand-new NIVEA content assets in over 130 countries across the globe.

  • I served as an SEO Content Manager responsible for boosting international and multilingual content marketing projects across over seven countries.

  • I produced copy for various disciplines targeted at Latin American and Spanish markets. This included crafting emails, conducting SEO research, executing social media campaigns, supporting seasonal sales and other day-to-day writing tasks. My responsibilities included reviewing and refining spelling, grammar and style, as well as ensuring logic, structure, accuracy, and clarity of expression.

  • I was responsible for overseeing and enhancing Home24's social media accounts in Germany and the Netherlands, taking charge of their appearance, performance and engagement. Additionally, I spearheaded the development of a community and fostered communication with home enthusiasts.
