Valeria studied journalism and shortly after began her online marketing career in Colombia as a writer for local arts and culture newspapers. After earning her Master’s degree in Media and Communications from the Free University of Berlin, she transitioned into online marketing, specializing in copywriting, content marketing and production, and content management.
With experience leading content marketing and creative teams at B2C companies like Wayfair and in the B2B SaaS environment at Hotjar—and currently at Contentsquare—Valeria brings expertise across multinational, corporate, and e-commerce organizations. After 2.5 years at Contentsquare, she was entrusted with full ownership of the web experience across Contentsquare and its subsidiary brands, Heap and Hotjar. Working across time zones and cultures has been a constant throughout her career—and one of her strengths: she brings clarity, momentum, and alignment to complex global work.
She has spent the last several years building, leading, and growing teams to deliver measurable business results—not just outputs. Her background spans both agency and in-house environments, which has shaped her ability to collaborate seamlessly with internal partners and external specialists alike. Valeria has led projects end to end, from producing more than 40 YouTube videos (including one that reached 1.5 million views, underscoring her ability to create content that engages at scale) to launching a 40-episode podcast. She has increasingly focused on project management to deliver reliably at scale. More recently, she has been testing how GenAI models and practical workflows can increase efficiency, enable new ways to innovate, and elevate the end-to-end web experience.
At Babbel, she excelled at maintaining a consistent brand voice across various digital channels and languages, earning a promotion to Managing Editor. Valeria’s international background and fluency in Spanish, English, and German have enabled her to coordinate teams and external providers seamlessly across digital marketing processes. During her time at Performics, an SEO agency under Publicis Groupe, she honed her project management and localization skills while specializing in organic SEO content creation.
