Marketing Lead: Content, strategy and localization

I'm a Latina living in Germany. I am a global marketing and creative content expert with vast experience in helping businesses grow through effective and proactive content strategy, execution, and roll-out. My passion lies in ensuring that brands maintain their identity across various channels, languages, and cultures.

  • Reporting to the SVP of Global Marketing, I lead the global content strategy across three digital experience analytics brands: Contentsquare, Heap, and Hotjar with a focus on driving awareness, demand, and customer engagement. I manage a team of 8 and 20+ freelancers to deliver integrated, high-performing online experiences across channels including web, demand generation programs, global campaigns, youtube, and recently LLMs thought leadership, and customer advocacy.

    Key contributions:

    • Led go-to-market content for major launches, including a unified "One App" rollout and LLM optimization programs for organic content.

    • Partnered cross-functionally (Product Marketing, Creative, Web, Sales, Customer Experience) to drive performance-led storytelling and optimize digital journeys.

    • Built global-to-local content playbooks to support market expansion and regional campaign activation.

  • Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, I led a team of 10 and managed 20 freelancers and video agencies to drive demand generation and brand initiatives for a global B2B SaaS business focusing on SMB+MM segments. Collaborating with regional marketing, partnerships, sales, and product teams, I created audience-first content across multiple segments and geographies⸺with a special focus on SEO driven guides, webinars and Youtube videos. My responsibilities included content strategy, people management, performance tracking, and project management, with a focus on sales impact, engagement, and retention. I oversaw strategy development, content planning, localization, budget management, and multilingual editorial programs.

    Hotjar was merged with Contentsquare in 2023.

  • Responsible for executing and delivering marketing and brand e-commerce plans for B2C and B2B in Europe. I led a team of 17 designers, copywriters, and creative managers to success to guide and orchestrate messaging, creative strategy and overall management of multi-channel campaigns for promotional sales and brand activations, including the most recent project, Your own Wayfair in the UK and Alles vom Deinsten in Germany.

  • Responsible for roadmapping, vision setting, and copy strategy. Leading a team of nine copywriters to drive brand consistency and bridge the gap between brand, marketing, and creative. Focus on European (UK,IE,DE) voice standards for global marketing campaigns as well as the upcoming launch of new verticals and Wayfair's international expansion.

  • As a member of the Performance Marketing team at Babbel, my primary goal was to enhance organic growth and conceptualize/executed high-performing inbound marketing strategies. These strategies optimised Babbel’s customer acquisition capabilities while delivering value to our target consumers.

  • As a member of the Content and Storefront Management team, I have contributed to the successful launch of brand-new NIVEA content assets in over 130 countries across the globe.

  • I served as an SEO Content Manager responsible for boosting international and multilingual content marketing projects across over seven countries.

  • I produced copy for various disciplines targeted at Latin American and Spanish markets. This included crafting emails, conducting SEO research, executing social media campaigns, supporting seasonal sales and other day-to-day writing tasks. My responsibilities included reviewing and refining spelling, grammar and style, as well as ensuring logic, structure, accuracy, and clarity of expression.

  • I was responsible for overseeing and enhancing Home24's social media accounts in Germany and the Netherlands, taking charge of their appearance, performance and engagement. Additionally, I spearheaded the development of a community and fostered communication with home enthusiasts.
